Hailed as the fastest growing club on the island, Sankeys Ibiza is showing no sign of stopping for 2015. The infamous UK club is a relative newcomer to the island and only opened its Ibizan branch in 2011, but has very quickly garnered a cult following of punters and workers alike with its no-frills basement vibe.
The club boasts a range of features including LED screens, a fully-lit ceiling and a vibrating dance floor that channels bass frequencies from the music itself. However, these are no mere gimmicks and Sankeys keeps the emphasis on proper clubbing with a smorgasbord of credible, underground house and techno parties amongst nights purveying the more tasteful side of commercial dance music.
Sankeys has three rooms; the main Basement room, the smaller Spektrum room and upstairs LAB chill out room complete with armchairs, located next to the large, al-fresco smoking area terrace. It was built to replicate the UK branch of the club and channels a familiar vibe for all those party people who know. Although still very large, Sankeys offers a more intimate clubbing experience by Ibiza standard with its darkened demeanour and low ceiling.

Sankeys Ibiza 2016 Parties
With the Opening Party split over the 20th and 21st May, Sankeys is preparing Ibiza for one hell of a season right up until the 6th October Closing Party.
French duo Amine Edge & Dance take over Mondays for the second season of Cuff, bringing their bespoke ???Gangsta House??? vibes to the island from the 25th May until the 28th September.
Tuesdays remain to be Tribal Sessions territory, this year inviting Snoop Dogg to the no-frills rave under his ???Snoopadelic??? alias. From the 26th May til 29th September you can catch a profusion of underground talent ranging from Blawan and Ilario Alicante to Levon Vincent.
After 17 years at Space, We Love is ready to move into its new home Sankeys. Lineups are still under wraps, but we can expect a guaranteed party frenzy every Wednesday night from the 17th June til the 30th September.
This year has seen a lot of changes for Sankeys, with owner David Vincent reviving an old project from the 90s and giving it a new lease of life from the 11th June. Thursdays leading up to the 24th September are now home to The Redlight, a US inspired tribute to Vincent???s very first contribution to the music scene he now rules.
Also new to Sankeys on Fridays is SHELTER, the official afterparty for Ibiza Rock???s W.A.R! party. Running from the 22nd May until the 25th September, we can expect to see Green Velvet, Bondax and Tiga behind the decks.
Magna Carta returns to their Saturday night slot from the 23rd May until the 26th September with British residents Josh Butler, East End Dubs and Leftwing & Kody in tow.
Steve Lawler once again gives Sundays a whole new meaning, bringing VIVa Warriors back to Sankeys for yet another season. From the 31st May til the 4th October lucky party goers expect performances from Detlef, Dennis Ferrer and the godfather of house music Derrick Carter.

Sankeys is located in Playa D???en Bossa, roughly ???25 in a taxi from San Antonio or ???10 from Ibiza Town. Disco buses run all night direct from Ibiza to the club.

A heavyweight on the UK clubbing scene, Sankeys opened its Ibiza branch back in 2011. Still a newcomer to the island, Sankeys has fought to make a very strong name for itself as an underground paradise. Keeping visuals and entertainment to a bare minimum; Sankeys takes it back to basics where the focus is on music and dancing alone.
Amongst the notable parties at Sankeys include Tribal Sessions with a heritage dating back two decades to the illegal rave scene in the early ???90s. The notorious VIVa warriors is one of the club favourites and Duke Dumont???s recent Blas?? Boys Club party concept provides a fresh mixture house, disco and techno. You can expect the likes of Steve Lawler, Sidney Charles, DJ Sneak and more as Sankeys??? mainstay DJs.
